Tuesday night, January 11, 2011 7PM at American University, I will be presenting with seven of my ASMP (www.asmp.org/) colleagues on what we call ‘8×10‘ as eight ASMPDC (www.asmpdc.com/) members present a work of their choice.  I will be sharing imagery for a current book project co authored with philanthropist and world traveler Grant Wilson, I will show four years of work on his yacht trawler Whale Song as it traveled the globe to some of the most picturesque places in the world such as Antarctica, Galapagos, Papua New Guinea and to many others.

Join us for our most popular program: 8×10, where eight of our fellow ASMPDC members will present a work of their choice—a recent assignment, a completed commercial job, a personal project, or a series of images that resonates with them. Don’t miss this lively evening from a diverse group of our fellow photographers as they show us their approach to the craft and business of making great images.

Johnny Bivera is a widely published photojournalist with over 20 years experience capturing images throughout the world covering both combat and humanitarian missions. Johnny owns Visual Media One, a documentary and commercial multimedia production company.
